Wouldn’t it be great to promote a day without Internet explorer? A day to boost the download and use of decent browsers like Firefox, Safari and Opera. Then I thought that a great but a little crazy way to do this was to have Google doing it. Imagine all the IE users going into Google and getting a message like “If you want to use Google today, please download Firefox or opera” considering that mac users already have Safari installed!. When people started using it, they would never go back into IE again and IE would begin it’s one way trip to vanish land!
